National Good Neighbor Day
National Good Neighbor Day was created in the early 1970s by Becky Mattson of Lakeside, Montana and President Jimmy Carter made it official in 1978. We now acknowledge and celebrate the importance of a good neighbor.by annually on September 28. Being neighbors goes beyond having that someone to run and borrowing the occasional cup of sugar when you run out.
